Surviving Tsunamis

The force of the mega tsunami that struck the west coast of Aceh was so extreme that only a few mosques survived it and they were heavily damaged. It is not feasible to design for a 30m wave but a very large number of homes were destroyed far inland and on the East coast where the wave impact looked much like the image above. Tecta structures are easily capable of surviving a 4-5m tsunami if all cores are concrete filled. After the wave has receded the enormous clean up job begins. Tecta structures use no plaster board and the MgO skins will not degrade even if pressure hoses are used to clean the interior. There is no wood to rot or swell and no nails to corrode.
